We have seen this living museum several times and always walk away learning something new. The docents are knowledgeable and work well with the children. Especially fun are their Christmas and Valentines programs. Very fun.

We took our children for a tour of the museum , and it was great . They got to experience what living in the 1800's would have been like , from chopping wood to whitewashing fences , laundry by hand . It was a fun day , the house is beautiful and we have a nice picnic on the grounds . We took the guided tour thats available at 3 pm , the guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many items we wouldnt have noticed , explaining the use and answering questions . This is a great way to spend an afternoon !
